Our site was once the Green Lake Ice House, where the Kasten family cut ice blocks from the lake and stored it where our parking area exists today. During the year, the family would deliver ice blocks to the area homes by horse and wagon since electric refrigerators were not available. Their main house is where Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor today serves all their special customers.

You can visit Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor in downtown Green Lake by strolling from Mill Street to Bayview Court or arrive by boat. While on a summer day cruise or a moonlit evening cruise, just dock at Deacon Mills Park and you're only a few steps away.

It's the perfect place to bring your children, family and friends for a great American passion -- Good Old Fashioned Ice Cream!! Outside there is a deck and several picnic tables to help set off the white picket fence and beautiful flowers. Inside Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor, you'll be stepping back in time with 1900s wire bent antique tables and chairs, soda fountain memorabilia consisting of scoops from all eras, depression glass straw holders, and malted milk containers -- all leading up to the way ice cream cones were first introduced back in 1904.

During the summer months, Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor serves their huge variety of flavors, including yogurts, sherbets, sorbets and sugar free ice cream. They specialize in an array of sundaes, malts, floats, and old-fashioned sodas. Toppings are among the best, using fresh strawberries and raspberries when in season or shipped from the West and the Northwest United States when out of season. Our fudge, chocolate and caramel are the best of the best.

If you sweet tooth hasn't been taken care of at this point, you can enjoy the large selection of imported and novelty candy all displayed in an early 1900s grain counter.

Owners, Wally & Michele, began Bayview Landing Ice Cream Parlor in 1991 and are at the Parlor every day from mid-April to mid-October from Noon to 10 p.m. to greet every customer.
